It is our belief that community is more than geographic locale; that it is an idea that exists in the minds of people sharing common goals and concerns. Based on that belief, the Foundation's Grantmaking Programs seek to develop a shared vision of building a sense of community.
The following links provide information on our competitive Grantmaking Programs. Organizations that are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and provide services in Palm Beach and Martin counties are eligible to apply for grants. ___________________________________________________________________________
Thank you for your interest in seeking funding from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The board and staff of the Community Foundation are currently engaged in a comprehensive review of the Foundation’s grantmaking strategies and programs. We anticipate formulating and announcing new funding guidelines in the Fall 2008. Please be advised the Community Foundation is not accepting any new and/or 1st year requests for funding from its General Grantmaking Program or from the Hans and Mary Stratmann Intergenerational Fund. Current 2nd and 3rd year grantees of the Foundation should re-apply at the appropriate time and seek guidance from the Foundation’s program staff on dates for re-submittal for continuation funding. We invite you to visit the Foundation’s website periodically to learn more about the Foundation’s programs and activities and for news and announcement of new funding opportunities.
