The Environmental Endowment Fund

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties administers the Environmental Endowment Fund, a permanent endowment for environmental grantmaking.

You can support important work on environmental issues by making your contribution to this area of interest fund. The Community Foundation’s Environmental Subcommittee, Grants Management Committee and Board of Directors approve grantmaking from this fund, which is earmarked only for environmental projects.

In the past, the Community Foundation has supported the projects of diverse organizations, including 1,000 Friends of Florida, Florida Atlantic University’s Pine Jog Environmental Education Center and others. A signature project supported by the fund is Community Foundation’s documentary, The Indian River Lagoon: Gateway to Saving the Everglades.
